Wynyard Fitness offers a range of aqua classes including cardio, wellness and hydrotherapy. Aquatic therapy is a very safe and beneficial form of exercise. As well as a number of cardiovascular and respiratory benefits, aquatic therapy also helps to:
- increase and maintain muscular flexibility;
- improve mobility and range of motion;
- increase muscular strength; and
- improve coordination, balance and postural alignment.
Other benefits include:
- a high calorie consumption;
- a massaging effect on your muscles;
- the ability to train during very cold weather, (using an indoor heated pool);
- a great supplement or alternative to regular training;
- is usually pleasurable and very relaxing; and

AQUA FIT – A high energy and fun aqua fitness class focusing on variety for participants. Aqua Fit incorporates aerobic moves and use of various water aids which aims to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength training and toning. Great music, circuits, aerobic routines and high energy moves make this class fun for all.
AQUA LITE – A great class for those affected by arthritis, people with back injuries or those who have had joint replacement surgery. Relax sore muscles, develop greater joint mobility and build up strength.
AQUA TONE – A medium impact class that combines cardiovascular and resistance exercise. The use of all water levels, equipment, circuits and fun add to the variety of this class. Sculpt your body by alternating between upper and lower-body workouts, along with abs, back, waist and glute sections. It is medium impact and suitable for all ages and levels.

Class Rates
- Single class - C $13.00, A $15
- Multi10 passes - C $117, A - $135 (valid for 12mths) or the cheapest alternative is membership, where for as little as $16.00 you can participate in two classes per week.
